Do you have a sofa warrenty?

Sofa Warranty

Original proof of purchase is required for all claims.

We design for how furniture is actually lived with — not just how it looks on day one. Every DISTRIKT sofa is built with premium materials and a solid internal structure, made to hold its comfort, form, and integrity over time.

It’s all about comfort and the joy good design brings — the kind that becomes part of everyday life without needing attention to prove its value. These are pieces designed to earn their place in a home and keep it, built for real life and made for the long run.
This warranty exists simply because we stand behind how it’s made.

Structural Construction Warranty
10-Year Warranty
The frame is where everything begins and where quality shows over time.
DISTRIKT sofas are built using premium solid plywood construction, designed for strength, stability, and everyday use.
This warranty covers:
● Internal solid plywood frame construction
● Structural joinery and frame integrity
● Manufacturing defects in frame or workmanship
If a structural issue appears under normal residential use within 10 years, we will repair or replace the affected component.

Foam & Cushion Warranty
3-Year Warranty
Comfort should hold its shape — not fade after introduction.
We use high-density foams and sprung systems chosen for resilience, support, and longevity.
This warranty covers:
● Abnormal loss of foam resilience
● Premature foam collapse beyond expected wear
● Faults in internal sprung cushion systems
Please note:
● Softening and natural settlement are part of how upholstered furniture evolves with use — not a defect.
● Regular care such as rotating and plumping helps maintain balance and comfort over time.

Upholstery & Fabric Considerations
Materials are meant to be lived with, and they respond accordingly.
The following are considered normal characteristics and are not covered under warranty:
● Fabric softening, creasing, and natural movement
● Leather grain variation and natural markings
● Pilling caused by friction with other textiles
● Fading from sunlight exposure
● General wear from everyday use
Care will always extend the life of the product — how it’s used matters.

Warranty Conditions
This warranty applies to:
● The original purchaser only
● Residential indoor use
● Normal living conditions
This warranty does not cover:
● Misuse, neglect, improper cleaning, pets, moisture, or accidental damage
● Commercial or hospitality use unless agreed
● Damage during transport or after delivery
● Third-party alterations or repairs.

Products & Care

How should I care for my fabric sofa?

Every fabric in our collection is chosen for how well it lasts, not just how it looks on day one. Treat it right, and it'll only get better with time.

Everyday Care

  • Straighten seams as you go, it keeps the silhouette sharp.
  • Foam and fillings will soften naturally with use. Shift where you sit now and then to even out the wear.
  • If you bring in a professional cleaner, insist on dry or low-moisture methods. Steam and hot water extraction can damage the fabric.

Dealing With Spills

  • Act fast — blot, don't rub, with a clean cloth.
  • Reach for an upholstery-specific shampoo or dry-cleaning solvent, never a general household cleaner.
  • A barely-damp cloth works for light cleaning, but always test on a hidden patch first, and never soak the fabric.
  • A light, regular vacuum keeps dust from working into the weave.
  • For extra peace of mind, gives an invisible layer of protection against everyday spills and marks.

One Thing to Watch
Direct sun, UV, and heat are the biggest threats to your upholstery, they'll fade and weaken the fabric over time, so keep pieces out of prolonged direct light where you can.

How should I care for my leather sofa?

Leather is chosen for how it ages, every mark and crease becomes part of its character over time. A little care keeps it supple and long-lasting.

Everyday Care

  • Wipe down with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and everyday grime.
  • Foam and fillings will soften naturally with use. Shift where you sit now and then to even out the wear.
  • Keep leather away from sharp objects, pet claws, and rough fabrics that can scratch or scuff the surface.
  • Condition every 6–12 months with a leather-specific conditioner to prevent drying and cracking.

Dealing With Spills

  • Act fast — blot, don't rub, with a clean, dry cloth. Rubbing can push liquid deeper into the leather.
  • Use a leather-specific cleaner only. Household cleaners, solvents, and baby wipes can strip the finish.
  • A barely-damp cloth works for light cleaning, but always test on a hidden patch first, and never soak the leather.
  • Let it air dry naturally, away from direct heat — never use a hairdryer or heater to speed things up.

One Thing to Watch
Direct sun, UV, and heat are the biggest threats to leather, they cause fading, drying and cracking over time, so keep pieces out of prolonged direct light and away from heating vents.

How should I care for wood furniture?

Wood is chosen for its character, grain, tone, and texture that only deepen with time. A little care keeps it looking its best for years to come.

Everyday Care

  • Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth to prevent build-up in the grain.
  • Use coasters, placemats, and trivets to protect the surface from heat, moisture, and scratches.
  • Wipe up spills immediately to prevent water marks and staining.
  • Polish or oil every few months with a product suited to your wood finish, applied sparingly and buffed well.

Dealing With Marks

  • For light marks, wipe with a soft cloth dampened with water only — always test on a hidden area first, and dry immediately after.
  • Avoid household cleaners, solvents, and abrasive products, which can strip the finish or damage the wood.
  • Never saturate wood with water, excess moisture can cause warping, swelling, or cracking over time.
  • For stubborn marks, use a wood-specific cleaner or consult a professional rather than attempting an aggressive fix.

One Thing to Watch
Direct sun, heat, and fluctuating humidity are the biggest threats to wood, they cause fading, drying, and cracking over time, so keep pieces away from heating vents, and prolonged direct light.
